What We Do
The Operation and Maintenance Manual (O&M Manual) is a standard document required by clients upon completion of a new project that provides all of the information required to operate and maintain new equipment installed during a project.
Ideally this should be provided in draft form at the time new plant is brought into use. At draft stage it provides the basic, essential information to operators and maintainers support safe operation of the plant whilst the project is progressing through the final stages to completion, prior to handover.
At the point of completion and handover the O&M Manual should be finalised and placed on site with a copy normally held on record as an electronic copy by the client.
What can we offer?
We can fully support you with creation of the Draft Manual for bringing into use right the way through to a final O&M Manual for issue upon completion in whatever chosen format the client demands.
How does the process work?
- Please contact us with an initial enquiry
- We will contact you to discuss your specific requirements and obtain details of the project
- An initial quotation will be provided based on the above
- If required a site meeting can be arranged to get an overview of the project
- The relevant documentation for a draft O&M is to be provided and we will issue a draft copy for site prior to ‘bringing into use’
- Upon completion of the works, documentation is to be provided to build a final copy which will be submitted for review by your discipline engineers and the client
- We will provide up to two iterations following review
- Once approved we will provide the final O&M in the required format for example Hard Copy for site with CD and / or electronic submission
Clients will often require the contractor to compile detailed Asset Data Records for submission at the point of completion. This includes tagging all new plant and instrumentation installed during a project and collation of detailed information pertaining to each one of those items of plant and instrumentation.
This information is then uploaded to the clients Asset Management System to create the planned maintenance schedules for the maintenance teams.
What can we offer?
We will be happy to attend site to tag and collate all of the detailed information required in accordance with the clients Asset Data Record template.
We will then submit a final version of the Asset Data Record for review / acceptance.
